With some products you find the term "typical weight", especially for products that are not uniform or vary in size.
For instance:
The typical weight of 2 strip loin steaks is 450g. But striploins vary,
depending on the size of the beef, and sometimes it is a bit difficult to judge
the weight when cutting the meat. So, you might get 420g or 475g instead of the
typical weight of 450g.
The way the system works is in 2 steps:

At the first step, the amount based on the typical weight is reserved on your
credit card account.

During the packing of your shopping, the true weight is known. The payment will
be finalized, the reserved amount is either adjusted up or down. However, the
system limits all upward adjustments by 10%. There are no limits for downward
adjustments.
