Ballybrado direct is an organic food distribution system, giving organic producers a joint umbrella for the sale of their goods, directly to consumers, in a coordinated and efficient fashion.

The production of some 200 certified organic Irish producers forms the foundation of this enterprise, organic produce which is not produced in Ireland or not in sufficient quantity is supplemented through certified organic goods from producers outside Ireland.

Ballybrado direct is spearheaded by Josef Finke of Ballybrado Farm, one of the longest established organic farms in Ireland. For more than 20 years Josef has been involved in organic food and farming both nationally and internationally.

To become a customer of Ballybrado direct you just transfer your weekly shopping list onto our website and a few days later your shopping will arrive at your home. Households with no internet connection can order from our nearest promoter.

To distribute the goods, Ballybrado direct is setting up a network of depots with chilled storage facilities. From one of these, your shopping is delivered every week, directly to your home, at a convenient time for you. The Depot Holder is your local contact and liaison point, whether you need assistance with Internet ordering or with anything else you want to discuss.
